To qualify as a guarantor you must be at least 21 years of age, be a U.S. citizen or legal resident, and be willing and capable of repayment of the full Loan Amount should the Borrower fail to do so.

Agreement
Hebrew Free Loan of Austin is providing an interest free loan to Borrower in the sum of the Loan Amount. I agree to unconditionally guarantee payment of the Loan Amount. In doing so, I understand this Guarantor Agreement creates a binding obligation on me until the Loan Amount is paid in full. There may be more than one person signing a Guarantor Agreement for the Loan Amount. Each person signing the Guarantor Agreement for the Loan Amount is jointly and severally liable for payment of the entire Loan Amount. As a result, each Guarantor is liable for the full amount, and therefore, could be individually called upon to repay the total balance due. Guarantor understands and agrees that any and all disputes which are unable to be resolved between the parties shall be decided by binding adjudication of a Beit Din in accordance with substantive and procedural Jewish law as interpreted by the arbitrators. The binding arbitration shall be administered by Rabbi Alan Freedman and two additional arbitrators shall be selected by Rabbi Freedman. The arbitrators shall be members of the Austin Jewish community and reside in or around Austin, Texas. Each arbitrator is entitled to one vote of equal weight on any decision, ruling or award. The place of arbitration proceedings shall be chosen by the majority of arbitrators at a mutually convenient location in Austin, Texas. An award rendered by the Beit Din is final, binding and enforceable. All matters affecting the interpretation of this Guarantor Agreement and the rights of the parties hereto shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas.This Guarantor Agreement constitutes the entire agreement of the parties regarding the subject matter hereof and supersedes any prior written or oral agreements.
