HFLA Introduces Its Newest Board Members
January 2026
Lee Reingold joined the Hebrew Free Loan of Austin Board of Directors in 2025, bringing extensive experience in financial reporting, business administration, and organizational operations. A CFO consultant and accountant, Lee is passionate about strengthening mission-driven organizations through sound financial stewardship.
Lee and his wife Liz have lived in Austin for four years. Their family includes two children — David, who lives in Atlanta with his wife Lindsay, and Mia, who lives in Austin with her fiancé Jeff — as well as their dog, Rosie.
Raised in a Reform Jewish community in Teaneck, New Jersey, Lee later became active in the Conservative movement while raising his family in Marlboro, NJ, where he volunteered on his synagogue’s finance committee. Lee was drawn to HFLA because its mission closely aligns with his values, and he looks forward to learning all aspects of the organization and contributing wherever he’s needed.
Outside of work and volunteering, Lee enjoys cooking family meals, music, sports, and his unique hobby of vegetable pickling.
Courtney Manuel brings decades of nonprofit leadership and fundraising experience to the Hebrew Free Loan of Austin Board of Directors.
Courtney has lived in Austin for 16 years with her husband Jake and their two children, Jordan and Harris. Their household also includes multiple dogs, making for a lively and loving home.
A retired nonprofit professional, Courtney has spent years actively engaged in the Jewish community and was immediately drawn to HFLA’s sustainable, perpetual lending model. She looks forward to expanding her knowledge of the organization and contributing her experience to support its mission.
Outside of board service, Courtney stays busy with her teenage children, enjoys ceramics, loves to cook (including training at culinary school), and frequently attends live music events.
Marty Davis has been an active member of the Austin Jewish community for nearly three decades and joined the HFLA Board of Directors to further his commitment to service and leadership.
Marty and his wife Robin have been married for 38 years and have lived in Austin for 27 years. They raised three children and remain deeply involved in Jewish life through Agudas Achim and Shalom Austin.
Professionally, Marty holds a finance degree and an MBA and spent most of his career in the tech industry. He has held numerous volunteer leadership roles, including serving as Vice President of the Shalom Austin Board, leading the Maccabi Team Austin delegation, and co-chairing the CAA Kosher Chili Cookoff.
Inspired by HFLA’s leadership and mission, Marty is most excited about helping individuals and families solve financial challenges and improve their lives. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, boating, traveling, and volunteering.
Liz Solka is a longtime Austin resident and dedicated Jewish community leader who joined the HFLA Board of Directors to further her commitment to service.
Liz and her husband Michael met as counselors at Greene Family Camp and are proud UT alumni. They have two sons, two daughters-in-law, and two granddaughters, with another grandchild on the way.
A retired attorney formerly with the Texas Department of Insurance, Liz brings legal expertise, small business consulting experience, and years of board service to HFLA. She and Michael established a scholarship fund at Greene Family Camp, reflecting their belief in helping people help themselves — a value that strongly aligns with HFLA’s mission.
Liz’s Jewish journey is deeply rooted in service, and she has previously served on boards and committees at Shalom Austin, Greene Family Camp, and Congregation Beth Israel.
Scott Einaugler joined the HFLA Board of Directors with a strong desire to give back to the Jewish community and support meaningful, hands-on impact.
Scott lives in Austin with his wife of 16 years, their two daughters, Vivian and Tess, and their 16-year-old dog, Zeus. With a professional background in marketing and sales, Scott first became involved with HFLA through leadership of the Poker Tournament.
Motivated by a growing commitment to Jewish community engagement, Scott is eager to help HFLA in any way he can. He brings enthusiasm, creativity, and a team-oriented mindset to the board.
In his free time, Scott enjoys working out, pickleball, basketball, and sports fandom. He’s also a marathon runner, having completed races in New York City and Austin.
Jennifer Kaufman joined the Hebrew Free Loan of Austin Board of Directors in 2026, bringing nearly 30 years of legal experience focused on health and human service policy, as well as providing legal guidance to governing boards.
Jennifer and her husband David have lived in Austin for 28 years and are proud parents to Noah and Abby, along with their beloved lab, Saul. She was drawn to HFLA’s mission because of its powerful “pay it forward” model — helping individuals get back on their feet while ensuring that future community members never have to feel alone when they need support.
Professionally, Jennifer has practiced law for almost three decades, offering deep expertise in policy, governance, and community-centered service. She is excited to work alongside fellow board members and staff who share a strong commitment to strengthening the Jewish community through meaningful, compassionate action.
Jennifer’s Jewish journey began in Houston, where involvement in the Jewish community was always prioritized. Since moving to Austin, she has been proud to be actively involved through Women’s Philanthropy at Shalom Austin and by supporting her children’s engagement in BBYO. Outside of her professional and volunteer commitments, Jennifer enjoys hiking, traveling, reading, mahjong, and live music and performances.
